About Aaron
A longtime resident of the city with a career in education, Aaron has long championed the value of public art. Having taught the benefits of such installations in his course on the human ecology of Worcester, this sculpture marks an exciting personal milestone. “Growing Together” is Aaron’s inaugural piece of public art and represents a significant new direction in his artistic practice, exploring the possibilities of metalwork. A lifelong woodworker, Aaron’s foray into this medium was inspired and guided by his friend, the sculptor José Criollo, who taught him the art of welding and working with metal.
